Keynote speaker: Carmen Pardo, PhD
Holds a double undergraduate degree in Economics and Business Management from Santiago de Compostela University and has received a Postgraduate Diploma in Tourism Business Management, as well as a Master's Degree in European Union Studies. Moreover, she obtained a University Expertise in Marketing & Tourism and her PhD in Tourism at the Antonio de Nebrija University (a doctoral program certified by the World Tourism Organization) in Madrid, Spain.
She has a wide professional experience gained while working in several fields of the tourism & travel industry. Currently she is working as a Development Manager (for Portugal and Galicia) to Barceló Hotels & Resorts and acts as director and lecturer of the Master in Touristic Intelligence at Next IBS & Lleida University.
She has held relevant positions both in public bodies of the tourism sector at local and regional levels and in the private sector, where she has worked in international hotel chains in Spain and Portugal.
